On 11 March, pupils of Slovenian elementary schools had a competition in Fun School. Students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian from Banja Luka also joined the competition.

Fun School, attachment to PIL magazine, was first published in 1968 and throughout all these years numerous generations of children learned from it, including many who are now grandparents. Fun School encourages young people to obtain knowledge in a creative manner and that is why it provides information in an interesting and fun way. It primarily offers such usable topics that pupils from 4th to 9th grade of elementary schools to whom it is intended learn less at school. Topics of this year’s competition were old music, hidden labyrinths, school of the world and in the world of media.

There were two groups with the total of 19 students competing in Banja Luka. Five students won all points, eight students lacked two points each, but no one had less than 65% of points. Students showed excellent knowledge and they primarily proved that their understanding of Slovenian was so good that they could answer the questions.

Congratulations to the competitors and thanks to PIL magazine for giving us, who live abroad, the opportunity to be Fun School members.
