On Sunday, 24 May 2015, on the premises of the National Minorities’ Club we hosted librarians from Slovenia.
They were on a professional excursion in BiH, with the aim of visiting their colleagues, their libraries, exchanging experience on professional basis and implementing already planned meeting with members of Association of Slovenians “Triglav”. The leader of the excursion was the director of “Association of Librarians of Primorska and Notranjska” from Nova Gorica, Irena Švarč.
Guests were from Primorska and Notranjska of Slovenia, where most of our grandfathers and fathers come from, so we quickly established close relations with them. On behalf of the Association they were welcomed by Darko Mijatović, who briefly informed them about the work of the Association. We were presented with a number of books and, in return, we presented them with some books and bulletins issued by our Association.
