27 – 30 May 2015, Novi Sad
From 27-30 May 2015, Association of Slovenians “Kredarica” from Novi Sad organised the III Days of Slovenian culture, economy and tourism.
Diverse cultural programme took place in the Cultural Centre of Novi Sad, Grammar School “Jova Jovanović Zmaj” and “Catholic Porta”. The event was organised as collage of literary, music and entertaining events.
Literary evening was dedicated to the life and work of Luj Adamič.
In the music part, in addition to our choir, there participated choirs from Lendava, Chamber Choir “Vita” from Oplotnica – men and women choirs. In Grammar School there was a birthday concert of choir “Kredarica”, which marked 15 years of their work.
Upon the invitation of our friends from the Association “Kredarica”, our choir “Davorin Jenko” sang a combination of Slovenian and Serbian old-city songs at the Catholic Porta. Following a successful performance, we enjoyed in tasting food and drinks prepared by our pleasant hosts and friends who came from Slovenia. That evening we attended a concert of men and women choirs from Oplotnica and socialised with them at a joint dinner. During the dinner, we exchanged appropriate gifts with our hosts.
On behalf of the Association “Kredarica” Elza Ajduković thanked to all the choirs that made the III Days of Slovenian culture be so versatile.
