The Association of Slovenians “Triglav” Banja Luka, in cooperation with Centre for Children and Youth “MIS” and Centre for Cultural and Promotional Activities “Primera MLLL” organised first of two educational workshops “Painting objects of clay-wood” for all national minorities.
The workshops is intended to all persons who want to participate regardless of age, sex and occupation, in other words regardless of precognition of visual arts.
On Tuesday, 30 June, representatives of Ukrainians, Slovenians, Macedonians, Czech and Montenegrins gathered on the premises of the National Minorities’ Club and under the mentorship of Sunčica Laguza painted wood in “decoupage” technics. Participants were very dedicated to making the objects and time quickly passed by in a pleasant and creative atmosphere.
Second part of the educational workshop is planned for 7 July at 18.00 hrs on the premises of the Club. Following the two workshops, it is planned that the participants exhibit their works during the Review of National Minorities in September.
