This was the first exhibition of Slovenian artists from BiH in NUK Ljubljana. Works by twelve artists who had created at colonies in Tuzla in 2014 and 2015 were presented there.

Darko Mijatović, president of “Europe Now” greeted the attendees at the opening. Guests at the exhibition were representatives of the Office of Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenians Abroad, Mr. Marjan Cukrov, president of Slovenian community Tuzla, Mrs. Dragica Tešić, representatives of the Association of Slovenians “Triglav” Banja Luka, president Marija Grbić and Nataša Kajmaković. Artists Tatjana Bosnić from Banja Luka, Dragan Gačnik from Zenica, and painter and mentor Davor Mešić were those who attended the presentation of the works at the opening.

Prior to the opening the attendees were welcomed by Mrs. Helena Janežič. Mentor Davor Mešić spoke about artists and their creations at the two colonies organised in Tuzla. President of Slovenian community Tuzla, Dragica Tešić had the honour to open the exhibition and, in order to have a more ceremonious character, the performance was made by vocal group Carina from Kozina singing three songs. Pleasant atmosphere, discussions and comments while observing the paintings and socialising with artists gave the feeling of hospitality and pleasure to all the attendees.
