On 28 September 2015, in Banski dvor, there was an opening of the exhibition of young graphic artist Nataša Mirtič from Novo mesto.
Author of interesting graphics is one of rare artists who dedicated her work exclusively to graphic art technique, more precisely its classic type...wrote Iztok Hotko. In the catalogue, there is part of works presented by Nataša Mirtič at the exhibition. The artist herself spoke about her work and approach to such art technique.
Organisers of the exhibition were the Cultural Centre Banski dvor, Association for the Development of Voluntary Work Novo mesto and Association of Slovenians RS »Triglav« Banja Luka.
By opening the exhibition the Association of Slovenians »Triglav« wanted to provide a pleasant and relaxed evening to the fans of such art. Violinist Aljoša Šolak played an appropriate composition for the beginning and Darko Mijatović welcomed the attendees and gave the floor to director of Cultural Centre Banski dvor, Mr. Milorad Petrič. Warm welcome of Mr. Petrič confirmed the good cooperation that our Association had established with the cultural institution Banski dvor. Among the attendees there was also the consul of the Consular Office of the Republic of Slovenia in Banja Luka Mr. Marjan Ristič. At the beginning of his service as the consul this was the first encounter with the people of Banja Luka. The statement he gave for the media included the successful cooperation which would continue in all areas. This was followed by short presentation of artist Nataša Mirtič's biography.
Before the consul opened the exhibition, young and already successful violinist Aljoša Šolak performed another composition and thus concluded the official part of the opening of the graphic exhibition which will remain open until the end of October.
Following the review of graphics the attendees socialised over a cocktail accompanied by good jazz music which was specially prepared for this occasion by Mr. Slobodan Vidović and his band.
