On Saturday, 21 November, we were visited by Božena Kolman Finžgar and Katja Bevk from the Library of Anton Tomaž Linhart from Radovljica.
They prepared workshop Library – Universe of Treasure for pupils. We made shadow puppetry for plays that will be used when the Santa Clause pays us a visit. The youngest made a bird and flowers for the scene “Why is spruce green also during winter”, the other group of pupils prepared puppetry for the play “Four players on strings”, and the third group got familiar with a known Slovenian fairy-tale “Peter Klepec”. In a pleasant atmosphere interesting puppetry was made and immediately tested. The shadow theatre will enhance our activities as it was proven that art creativity has a strong influence on children language development.
