Novo mesto and Banja Luka high school principals gathered in Banja Luka on 18 March 2016.

Networking among high schools of two cities is the result of long-term cooperation between Association for the Development of Voluntary Work Novo mesto and Association of Slovenians “Triglav” from Banja Luka, successful work over years, friendship, exchange of experience in the field of education, culture, networking and exchange of students and teachers, as well as the fact that both cities had the ear for those activities.
On 2 June 2015, in Novo mesto, an agreement was signed to continue the above mentioned successful cooperation between the two cities.
The cooperation has continued in 2016. Coordinator of the meeting in Banja Luka was Kristina Mrđa, director of association of principals of high schools of the Banja Luka region.
From Novo mesto there were: Štefan David, principal of School Centre Novo mesto, Sebastijan Brežnjak, principal of High Mechanical School, Boris Plut, principal of High Electrical Engineering and Technical School, Drago Crnić, assistant principal of High Electrical Engineering and Technical School, Petra Žibert, assistant principal of High Medical and Agricultural School, Damjana Gruden, principal of High Construction Engineering School, Tomaž Pintarič, head of Inter-entrepreneurial Educational Centre, Tone Hrovat, principal of High School of Hospitality and Vida Hlebec, secretary. From Banja Luka there were: Electrical Engineering School Nikola Tesla, principal Vojislav Popović, Construction Engineering School, principal Ljuban Bajić, Technical School, principal Kristina Mrđa, Grammar School - Gimnazija, principal Zoran Pejašinović, Agricultural School, principal Edi Haneš, School of Hospitality, principal Boris Spasojević. Principals discussed already planned activities and tasks for this school year.
