Attendees of the supply teaching lessons of Slovenian connected with students of Grammar School Ledina of Ljubljana. In April we visited them and they will come to Banja Luka in November.
Excursion for attendees of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian is always linked with the exchange of pupils and students because learning the language and getting familiar with Slovenian culture by contacting peers is always best and most effective. On Sunday, April 24, we browsed the collections of the Technical Museum of Slovenia in Bistra, and in the evening the students met with the peers where they were to stay. The programme of visit to Grammar School Ledina was prepared by Slovenian teacher Nina Levstik, while the hosts were students of class 1a. Our students were part of their everyday lives: they attended the lessons, socialised in the Book Night project, where they read and sang, played a friendly volleyball game. They will remember those events also because of the gifts they got: personal brochure with text and illustrations of Peter Klepec, a paper sheet with music folk songs and a T-shirt. Afternoon was time to socialise and we all know that those are the moments when friendships are made.
Students and members of the Association of Slovenians Triglav were received by principal Roman Vogrinc on Tuesday morning. That was a good chance for Nataša Kajmaković and Marija Petković to thank them for hospitality on behalf of the Association. Tuesday was the departure day and it will be easy to stay in touch with them owing to modern media.
