On Tuesday, 3 May 2016, choir “Davorin Jenko” of the Association of Slovenians “Triglav” Banja Luka performed as guests at the concert of Zdravko Ćosić’s ensemble “Veče uz prim”.
Cooperation of our choir with Zdravko Ćosića’s ensemble dates far back. Population of Banja Luka are rather interested in concerts “Veče uz prim”. At the concerts, beside singers and instrumentalists of the ensemble, performance is made by guests, whether being renowned singers, music groups, aphorists, poets, writers or young, less renowned but talented future artists. Small hall of the Cultural Centre Banski dvor is almost too small to receive all the fans of those events, intended for a short break, enjoying in group singing. Audience also follows the progress of those who performed earlier. When choir “Davorin Jenko” performed, audience was pleasantly surprised to hear songs well sang by singers led by Vanja Topić since 2014. This time the conductor was Dušan Urošević.
