Seventh regular and electoral assembly meeting of the Association of the Slovenians of the Republic of Srpska "Triglav" was held on 31 May 2016, commencing at 19.00hrs, on the premises of the National Minorities Club, Banja Luka.

At the assembly meeting the discussion was held about the work in the past three years (2012-2015), work programme for the forthcoming period, whereas the new leadership of the Association was elected.

Nataša Kajmaković submitted the report on the work for the previous period on behalf of the Executive Board of the Association. Financial report of the Association was also discussed at the meeting and it was submitted by Tatjana Vranješ, secretary of the Association.
All above reports were examined by the Supervisory Board of the Association, and then Siniša Čenić, a member of that Board, submitted their report. He noted that the Association had carried out their activities in line with applicable regulations and documents of the Association, primarily Statute and programme tasks of the Association.
Following the submission of reports, the attendees discussed and finally adopted them unanimously. The need was emphasised to include more members, particularly young ones, in the implementation of projects and programme of the Association. Hitherto work of the leadership was commended.
New leadership of the Association was elected by unanimous adoption of the proposal of the Executive Board of the Association, given that there were no other proposals. The following proposal of the new leadership was adopted: president of the Association Marija Grbić, vice-president Nataša Kajmaković, Board for Cultural Activities Viktor Debeljak, Board for Education and Sport Marija Petković, Board for Humanitarian and Social Affairs Zlatan Memon, Board for General and Legal Affairs Nevena Lučić Tomić, Board for Public Relations and Marketing Ana Marjanović, as well as Siniša Ambrožić, Darko Mijatović, Mladen Lunić and Dario Ukmar as members of the EB. Supervisory Board: president of the SB Vojislav Dimitrijević, and Zdenka Jelić and Bruno Ukmar as members of the SB. Secretary and cashier is Tatjana Vranješ.
Following the election of the leadership, Darko Mijatović presented the work programme for the forthcoming period until 2019. Beside listing the programme goals, which remained unchanged, there was emphasised a need for close cooperation with some towns in Slovenia and state institutions of the Republic of Slovenia, as well as non-governmental sector (Slovenian Emigrant Association, World Slovenian Congress, Association for the Development of Voluntary Work Novo mesto), many cultural associations and schools. Special focus was on the role and importance of efficient work of newly-elected EB.
The assembly meeting was presided by working presidency elected by members of the assembly meeting in the following composition: Vojislav Dimitrijević, presiding, Marija Petković, member, Tatjana Vranješ, member and minute-taker.
