They say that music is the most popular language in the world. »Where words fail, music speaks,« wrote Danish writer of fairytales Hans Christian Andersen.

On Saturday, 29 October, singing could be heard on the premises of the National Minorities’ Club in Banja Luka. Music workshop was moderated by Natalija Veselič Martinjak.
The last Saturday in October was festive. Slovenians do not mark only 1 November, All Saints Day, but also 31 October, Reformation Day. We remember Primož Trubar, author of first Slovenian books, as well as other protestant writers. Reformation period means the beginning of Slovenian literature, that is why the Reformation Day is a cultural holiday. We dedicated time to singing during supply teaching lessons. Professor Natalija Veselič Martinjak moderated two workshops: the first one for children and the second for youth and adults. Žan Žak Martinjak played a guitar accompanying the event. Children learned two songs „Ni copatka“ and „Enkrat je bil en majhen škrat“, while youth and adults learned „Mrtva reka“.
