February, the month of cultural events, was dedicated to the memory of poet France Prešeren.
On 18 February 2017, guests of the Association of Slovenians Triglav were singers from Dolenjska.
Concert organised by our association was held in Cultural Centre Banski dvor in Banja Luka. There were numerous visitors including the head of Consular Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia Marjan Ristič.
Men choir KUD Vidovo and Women choir KUD Vidovo from Šentvid pri Stični and Mixed choir Davorin Jenko of the Association of Slovenians Triglav performed together for the first time. It was a one-hour concert where they sang songs of Slovenian composers. At the end of the concert, our guests from Slovenia sang a song known to the inhabitants of Banja Luka who are not Slovenians and there were many like that at the concert.
