On Saturday, 4 March, on the premises of the Association of Slovenians Triglav in Banja Luka two activities were held intended to learning about Prešeren's life and work. We were visited by actor Pavle Ravnohrib and psychologist Darko Hederih.

Pavle Ravnohrib, who played the role of France Prešeren in a Slovenian TV show, guided the pupils through the play of Turjaška Rozamunda. The aim was not to prepare a play but to learn more about the Prešeren's romance, its »translation« to modern Slovenian language and fun improvisation. We got a great Rozamunda, while Lejla, Rozamunda's aunt, Ostrovrhar and others showed how pleased they were by their playing.
The month of February was dedicated to culture at supply teaching lessons of Slovenian. We read about the life of Julija Primic, we saw her portrait painted by Matevž Langus, we watched a Slovenian movie »Class Enemy«, while the pupils and students read Prešeren's poems and excerpts about his life and work. They had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge at the quiz prepared and moderated by Darko Hederih. There were six teams, from Banja Luka and Slatina. There were no questions they could not answer, and that is why the audience learned many interesting things.
Works by France Prešeren is still living, and his poems offer thinking about the life today, because many topics are close to modern youth’s thinking. All that was confirmed at the drama workshop and quiz, which we used to enrich the month of culture. The events were also reported in the morning programme on TV.
