The Association of the Slovenians of the RS Triglav Banjaluka organised a concert by Academic Choir of Primorska Vinko Vodopivec on 15 May 2017 in the hall of Banski dvor.
The choir consists of students from Primorska studying at the University of Ljubljana. Young men are amateurs continuing the tradition of choir singing by students of Primorska which has lasted for 64 years. Their repertoire comprises everything from men choir collection appropriate for student's choir, changing almost one third of singers every year.
Many visitors, including the consul of the Consular Office of the Republic of Slovenia Marjan Ristič, listened to thirty young men singing and performing a demanding programme with conductor Iztok Kocen. They are students at different departments and none is a music student. Youth, love of singing, and great enthusiasm by young conductor prove that the performance was of high quality.
