The Prnjavor municipality is one of small municipalities. Its specific characteristic is the composition of population living there. Different ethnic groups from Europe have settled there. Cultural and ethnic differences in that area left a special impression.
National minorities of the area presented themselves on 16 September 2017 in the Elementary School Nikola Tesla in Prnjavor. The review also welcomed representatives of national minorities from other towns of the Republic of Srpska. The attendees were welcomed by president of the Association of National Minorities Franjo Rover, mayor of Prnjavor Darko Tomaš and minister of economic relations and regional cooperation of the RS Zlatan Klokić. Mixed choir Davorin Jenko and Children Folklore Group of the Association of Slovenians Triglav Banjaluka took part in the diverse cultural programme. It was an evening of diversity of natural heritage, words, songs, dance and stands showing selected culinary delights of those nationalities.
