Pupils and students of Banjaluka were in Kranj in May. They enjoyed socialising with their peers and now their peers returned the visit.
The exchange included Elementary School France Prešern and Grammar School France Prešern Kranj. On Friday, 20 October, the youth and their companions started early from Kranj. In Banjaluka they were welcomed by members of the Association Triglav. A sunny afternoon was intended for a tour of Banjaluka and its vicinity. They drove to the Vrbas river canyon, where they could see one of the most beautiful rafting paths in Europe. Tourist guide shared many interesting facts about the river and history of the area. Pupils and their teachers visited Elementary School Ivo Andrić, and students visited Grammar School Banjaluka. On Saturday morning the guests and hosts took part at the quiz for Slovenians in BiH, while the free time until their return to Kranj on Sunday they spent with new friends so that no one was bored.
Youth from Slovenia could see that Banjaluka is the city of youth, sport and greenery. It is known by excellent food, delights, good fun and pleasant hosts.
