On 31 October, after several years of absence, the renowned retail corporation Mercator was reopened. Slovenian Mercator has been known to many in Banjaluka and its vicinity, therefore no wonder that many visitors were present at the opening of new Mercator.
Prior to the official opening, there was a cultural programme where folklore groups from Ljubljana participated. Such events cannot go without dancing, singing and good food. Slovenian cuisine was presented by members of the Association of Slovenians Triglav Banjaluka.
Mercator treated population of Banjaluka with evening folklore event, taking place in National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska. There participated folklore groups from Serbian Cultural Association Mladost from Ljubljana, Cultural Association Pelagić from Banjaluka and Children Folklore Group of the Association of Slovenians of the RS Triglav Banjaluka.
