Valentine’s Day, a day for those in love, for the youth, for everyone who wishes to preserve optimism. On that occasion, a Concert for those in love was held on 11 February 2018 in Banski dvor in Banja Luka.
Concert was performed by Tamburitza Orchestra of the City of Banja Luka with young conductor Zlatan Mirić and Tamburitza Orchestra Dobreč from Slovenia. Guest of the concert was still popular chanson artist from Slovenia Lado Leskovar. Audience at the concert enjoyed beautifully performed compositions of both Tamburitza orchestras and soloists. City Tamburitza orchestra is well known to the audience in Banja Luka and is always worth listening. Tamburitza players from Dobreč, a small village of Bela krajina in Slovenia are well known not only in Slovenia but also in wider community. They won major European and world awards. Their repertoire is broad, consisting of demanding classical music compositions. Conductor Goran Zagorc is rather young but very talented. Audience was able to enjoy beautiful music, singing of soloists of City Tamburitza Orchestra and old unforgettable compositions performed by Lado Leskovar, still a charming and witty singer, who shared interesting moments from his life as a singer and actor. Elder audience could remember their past, the young could experience his interpretation romantically in line with the event to which it was dedicated.
