On Friday, 27 April 2018 the Association Triglav organised a concert “Singing among friends” in the Youth Centre in Banjaluka. The concert was organised on the occasion of 20th anniversary of the Association.

Twenty years ago Slovenian song was first time heard on a celebration in National Theatre in Banjaluka and it was nice to hear it also on the occasion of the Association’s jubilee.

The guests could enjoy excellent performance of young singers from Mixed Choir Tabor Kalc 1869 from Gornja Pivka. The choir was conducted by young and talented pianist and composer Ana Celih Lenart and they sang famous Slovenian folk songs. Tone Škrlj, founder of the current choir and its honourable member sang two songs. This was followed by the performance of Mixed Choir Davorin Jenko of the Association Triglav. Their singing was successful owing to willingness and efforts of conductor Vanja Topić.

The last to perform at the concert was Zdravko Ćosić’s Ensemble. It does not need to be specially presented as all music lovers in Banjaluka know him. That ensemble is rather special. Their concerts offer the audience pleasant time to sing together with vocalists. Introductory text at the concert was read by Mladen Bubonjić.
