Pupils and students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian from Banjaluka visited their peers from Kranj last year in May for the first time. Pupils socialised with pupils of Elementary School France Prešeren, and students with students of Grammar School France Prešeren.

They then visited us in autumn, and schools of Kranj connected with schools of Banjaluka and Slatina. Teachers then met in Banjaluka while our pupils and students again visited those of Kranj on 3 May.

Pupils were received by pupils of elementary schools of France Prešeren, Matija Čop, Jakob Aljaž and Predoslje. Some students were also holsted by pupils and others socialised with their peers from Grammar School France Prešeren. Pupils and students visited schools, attended classes, and spent free time with their hosts. On Friday afternoon we all visited Planica, and Saturday morning our pupils and students took part in traditional Trail along the Wire in Ljubljana. Many of them already know Gorenjska very well, while the aim of the excursion was not only sightseeing but also socialising with their peers and attending classes. Each excursion is an opportunity for pupils and students to learn or understand the course as well as to speak Slovenian when talking to their peers.
