At the invitation of Association of citizens of Slovenian origin from Tuzla our choir took part at the Concert of Slovenian choirs.
The concert took place at the Bosnian Cultural Centre in Tuzla on 13 October 2018 at 19.00. The audience could hear choirs from Serbia, Croatia and BiH.
The event was hosted by women choir “Slovenčice” and the guests, beside our choir, were mixed choir “Kredarica” from Novi Sad, women choir “Ajda” from Umag and mixed choir “Camerata Slovenica” from Sarajevo. All choirs sang three songs each. The audience could enjoy Slovenian songs, while some of our members also danced. The Waltz with jolly Zabavljivka was greatly welcomed by the audience. The concert ended by all choirs singing together “Tam sem jaz doma” under the conducting of Fuad Šetić from Sarajevo.
Following the concert hosts organised dinner in the Hotel Tuzla where we socialised over excellent food, inevitable wine and nice songs. Sunday was a nice day and we truly enjoyed sightseeing. This visit to Tuzla will remain in our memory owing to successful performance, pleasant socialising and excellent hosts.
