At the end of September 2018 the ''Europe supports inclusion 3'' project was successfully completed in Zagreb.
The project was implemented by Roma National Council from Zagreb in cooperation with the Association of Slovenians Triglav from Banjaluka and Initiative for Development and Cooperation (IDC) from Belgrade. The project was implemented as part of the Erasmus+ programme and it is part of the activities supported by the European Voluntary Service and funded by the EU.
The purpose of the project was to make a wider social community aware of the problems the Roma population faces and to contribute to development of tolerance in the society and to create more positive environment for exercising and protecting the rights of the Roma national minority in Croatia. Two volunteers from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia stayed in Croatia throughout 2018 taking part in the implementation of this international project through their voluntary activities.
Volunteer Irena Malovrh from Trebinje was sent by the Association of Slovenians Triglav Banjaluka. She started her volunteering in February 2018 and finished in June 2018. Her volunteering included active preparation of articles for info-portal ROMI.HR including drafting and publishing her own articles. The texts were about different topics, while special emphasis was on texts about Roma population in BiH.
