On 23 and 24 May this year we met for the tenth time at the gathering of children of Slovenian descent who are studying the Slovenian language in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This year, the event was hosted by Slovenians from Tuzla who made sure that children from the entire BiH show what they learned in the past year. Excellent performance of the youngest participants thrilled the attendees. The performance was also made by students of the Supply Teaching Lessons of the Slovenian language from Banja Luka. They all together presented themselves by a poem of Janez Kolenc “To je bilo tisto leto”, whereupon Aleksandra sang two songs. Marko had a successful performance with his accordion. Luka Matej took care about the excellent end of their performance. He recited a poem “Pomladno pesem” which he himself wrote.
Students from various areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina socialised nicely after the performance. We are prod of the youngest students and members of the Association Triglav who took this occasion to show their progress in learning Slovenian.
