On Thursday, 18 June 2009, the book “From Ancestors to Descendants: Slovenians in Slatina and Banja Luka, 1923 – 2008” was presented in the “Miran Jarc” Library Novo mesto.
The presentation was accompanied by an exhibition of photographs depicting the past of Slovenians described in the book.
That was the third successful presentation of the monograph which represents the peak of 15 years long research and collection of materials done by author Vera Papez Adamic.
The author was interviewed by Mrs. Jadranka Zupancic. This was followed by Mr. Darko Mijatovic’s presentation of the Association of the Slovenians Triglav Banja Luka, whereupon the author of the exhibition of photographs shown in the book, Mr. Zelimir Saric, opened the exhibition.
The next presentation of the monograph will be held in Ljubljana soon.
