I became a true Slovenian!!
Even as a boy, I listened to my grandparents talking to their friends about their homeland, remembering the events and customs that connected them to Slovenia. In those stories, my grandfather Ivan often used to say, "Unless you climb Triglav you are not a true Slovenian!".

This year, the students of Slovenian language classes in Banja Luka and Slatina had the opportunity to improve their knowledge of the Slovenian language and to get to know their peers from other countries as well as Slovenia itself. In this way, students better understand that language is not only about grammar, but they must experience it in the environment in which they learn it.

On July 10, 2023, the "Edelweiss flower" mountaineering section of the Association of Slovenians "Triglav" Banja Luka held its first meeting, as befits mountaineers, in a beautiful green environment on Trešnjik, on Banj brdo, as it is now called. We still affectionately call it Šehovi.
