On 13 July 2009, the Consular Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia was opened in Banja Luka. It is located on the premises of the NLB Razvojna Bank, at 85a, Kralja Petra I Karađorđevića St. in Banja Luka. It will be opened for Slovenian citizens as of today, while the issuance of visas will commence on 20 July 2009.
The Consular Office in Banja Luka is of great importance for Slovenian citizens but also for all citizens of western part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because it is a shorter way to apply for Slovenian visa.
