From 29 June to 20 July 2009, the 28th Summer School and Youth Summer School of the Slovenian Language were organized in Ljubljana by the Centre for Slovenian as Second/Foreign Language of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana.
Participants came from 33 countries, including BiH, Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Argentina, USA, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy, etc. This year also organizers invested efforts to make the stay in Slovenia both useful and pleasant. In addition to lectures that took place every day, there was additional program organized in the afternoon hours, including tourist visit to Ljubljana, singing Slovenian songs, a ride in a boat on the Ljubljanica River, excellent theater play of Kolektiv Narobov, one-day trip to Štajerska, as well as many other interesting activities. Members of the Association Triglav attending the lectures had the opportunity to learn Slovenian and in the course of excellent lectures of Slovenian lectors learn about Slovenian history, culture, customs and interesting facts.
