Whether we will perform at the "Welcome Home" event was a question that the members of the choir asked themselves and "Triglav" since the beginning of the year. We diligently practiced at rehearsals, performed at local performances, participated in the work of the Association and at the end refreshed the choir dresses with new tulle sleeves, matching beads and waited impatiently. As the Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Matej Arčon, said, "Welcome home gives a sense of belonging, connection and recognition to those who live outside the borders of the Republic of Slovenia, and still feel Slovenia as their home. It connects generations, strengthens language, culture, memories - everything that makes up identity".

The "Welcome home" event is a gathering of Slovenians and their descendants who live and work outside of Slovenia and is traditionally organized by the Republic of Slovenia every year in June. Our association proudly participates in this event every year, the central event of which this time was held on June 22, 2025 in Nova Gorica.

On Saturday, May 31, 2025, the children's folklore group of the Triglav Association, with its performance of Koroška dances, participated in the cultural program marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Local Community Pince Marof - Benica, located in the municipality of Lendava, in the far northeast of Slovenia.

In the period 14-16 May 2025 students of additional Slovenian language classes in Banja Luka and Slatina and members of the Association of Slovenians "Triglav" visited the Slovenian community in Porabje /Raba Valley/, more precisely in the town of Števanovci in Hungary.
