On Saturday, April 16, 2022, at the supply teaching Lessons of Slovenian, we talked about Easter, the greatest and oldest Christian holiday.

We learned about the symbols of Easter: Easter eggs (pirhi) - a symbol of the resurrection or drops of blood, horseradish - nails, potica (strudel) - a crown of thorns, Easter ham - the body of Christ. We watched a video of how Ljubljana butarica is made and how Slovenians celebrate Easter. The students watched the Easter customs in Slovenia via the Internet (cutting the eggs), made an Easter rabbit out of cardboard, and at the end of the class they had sweets - a chocolate egg and a chocolate bunny. The youngest children painted an Easter colouring book.
