It was the second time that artists of Slovenian origin from the entire country and region had the opportunity to create in a lovely environment of Peace Flame House in Tuzla from 17-22 August 2015. Art colony gathered artists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia.

Organisers of the art colony were the Union of Slovenian Associations in BiH “Europe Now” and Association of citizens of Slovenian origin Tuzla, with the aim of expanding cultural activities and exchanging experience with artists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and wider.

On the last day of the colony an exhibition was opened, where twelve artists presented their works created in the past six days using Tuzla as inspiration.

The cultural programme included the performance of Vocal group “Kronce” Novo Mesto from Slovenia conducted by Alenka Novak and Women choir “Slovenčice” from Tuzla conducted by Lejla Mulaosmanović.
Sponsors of this year’s art colony were the Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenians Abroad, City of Tuzla, BH Telecom and Hotel Tuzla.

Participants to the art colony “Slovenians in Tuzla“ 2015 were: Nada Pia Bajlo, Zadar, Tatjana Bosnić, Banja Luka, Nada Dobnik, Tuzla, Dragan Gačnik, Zenica, Marijana Gregl-Bikar, S. Karlovci, Novi Sad, Melada Huseinagić, Tuzla, Borka Jokić, Tuzla, Ivan Kosmos, Split, Davor Mešić, Ljubljana, Stanka Novković, Zagreb, Zvonko Ostojić, Kakanj and Vlatko Zimmer, Tuzla.
