At the initiative of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, we have been celebrating the European Day of Languages every year since September 26, 2001.
This year as well, the National and University Library in Banja Luka marked this day, on Monday, September 27, 2021. The Association of Slovenians Triglav presented its stand with bulletins, books by Saša Pavček (U srčanom džepu, Ključ za dvije brave), a book by Vera Papež Adamič From Ancestors to Descendants - Slovenians in Slatina, a picture book by Barbara Hanuš What a Good Book and a comic book The Book Path. The stand has been enriched with numerous brochures from the Slovenian Tourist Board.
We also had Slovenian potica on the stand.
In addition to the Association of Slovenians, the Czech Association, the Oxford Language School, the Glossa Language School and the Centre for the German Language, as well as French, Italian and Turkish, also presented themselves.
Marko Budiša joined the European Day of Languages.
