Slovenian language lecturer at the Faculty of Philology in Banja Luka Primož Lubej hosted the Slovenian writer, editor and lecturer Andrej Blatnik on Friday, December 9, 2022.

Marija Petković and Zoran Vrućinić from the Association of Slovenians Triglav Banja Luka took part in the literary meeting, together with the teacher of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian. The writer confided in us that of all the roles, that of the writer is his favorite. The conversation was about the origin of his works, about the understanding and attitude towards literature in the Eastern and Western world, about the content of his literary works, both novels and short stories. Among other things, the master of the short story drew attention to an interesting phenomenon in the literary world, that some writers are more accepted in other environments than in the environment they come from. A frequent motif in his works is music, which the author believes can mean a solution to the current situation in the world. At the end of the conversation, he confided to us that he prefers living to writing, but he feels more alive when writing.
