On Saturday, December 2, 2023, members of the "Triglav" Association paid a return visit to the "Sava" Association in Belgrade and presented their publishing activities on that occasion.
This visit is a continuation of the activities with the Association "Sava", which began with the presentation of the exhibition "Famous Slovenians in Belgrade" held in Banja Luka on May 27, 2023.
The "Triglav" Association has published several books in its publishing activities, such as bilingual books: In the pocket by the heart - by Saša Pavček, Over coffee - by Barbara Hanuš, Key to two locks - the work of seven Slovenian and seven Serbian writers, A double-bottomed chest - a selection of poetry by freelance poets from Banjaluka and Novo Mesto, What a good book - the work of several modern Slovenian writers for children, Trip to the Blue Planet - by Ivanka Mestnik and Under the Sea - by the young author Milica Marjanović, as well as other books dealing with the topic of Slovenian immigrants, namely From ancestors to descendants - Slovenians in Slatina and Banja Luka 1923-2008 - by Vera Papež Adamič and the Slovenian ethnic minority in Bosnia and Herzegovina - by Dušan Tomažič.
The vice-president of the "Triglav" Association, Lenka Debeljak-Perušić, prepared a presentation about the Association and the books, after which gifts were exchanged between the two associations. On that occasion, we handed the hosts one copy of each of the books for their library, as well as several copies of the annual newsletter and the children's newsletter To smo mi.
This was followed by socializing with the members of the "Sava" Association, and the next day we walked around Belgrade, which is beautifully decorated for the holidays.
The event was organized with the financial support of the Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenians worldwide, the City of Banja Luka and the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska.
