On 27 June 2008, presentation of the book Kristalis by Marjanca Kočevar from Novo Mesto took place at Banski dvor in Banja Luka.
Collection of poems Kristalis is a collection filled with emotional charge, intertwining from a poem to a poem from the beginning to the end, and vice versa – from the end to the beginning, in different seasons and different areas.
In addition to the sponsors from the Association Triglav and numerous citizens of Banja Luka, the presentation was attended by writers Professor Šindić PhD, Mr. Zdravko Kecman and Mr. Stajčić.
Professor Šindić said that the realistic poetry and poetry of Kristalis of the other side were constantly changing. Lyric subject joins author’s subject, the poem and the reader.
Writer Zdravko Kecman focused his opinion on the last poem, or more precisely its translation into Serbian, done by the author herself. Mr. Kecman believes the translation is even better than the original, which is very unusual and often unsuccessful.
Through her poems, Marjanca Kočevar succeeded once again to gather and capture numerous audience. Writer Stajčić delivered a spontaneous speech which was followed by very pleasant socialising with poet Kočevar.
