On the occasion of the Day of the Republika Srpska, 9 January, many events took place in Banja Luka under the title “25 years of the Republika Srpska”.
Cultural programme started by the performance of cultural associations on the Krajina Square at 14.00hrs. There performed: Association “Veselin Masleša”, Association “Pelagić”, Association “Sveti Sava”, KUD “Čajavec”, Cultural Association of Ukrainians “Taras Ševčenko”, Association of Slovenians of the Republika Srpska “Triglav”.
Members of our choir “Davorin Jenko” and children folklore group Triglav were part of the ceremony and contributed to the event by singing and dancing.
Cultural associations preserve culture and tradition of a nation so this event could not have been successful without that segment.
