In the backpack of Irena Cerar, our guest on the occasion of the end of the school year, there are many old items. What happens when a pupil/student takes one item from the backpack?
He/she carefully unwraps it and a story about it begins. It may be a small shoe, nicely decorated box, a big key or a brown pot, each and every object has its own story.
Pupils of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian from Banjaluka, Slatina, Laktaši, Čelinac, Teslić and Prijedor were very interested in listening to fairy tales, that took them to a completely new world. On Saturday morning, 9 June, pupils attending lessons in Banjaluka and Slatina came to the National Minorities’ Club. Together with their parents they enjoyed exciting stories.
Pupils received certificates for attendance of classes while the most proud were the youngest who have learned Slovenian only one year. Among them are also those who did not miss a single class and that is why they received a special award. We awarded special recognition for reader’s badge, each participant could pick a book. Leaflet Poletavci will remind them not to forget to read even in summer. Pupil Elena Lunić, who took part in literary competition “I walked the land” published by Slavic Association of Dolenjska and Bela krajina, received a collection of poems where her poem was published.
On the occasion of the end of school year we had magical and festive time, so hopefully school holidays will also be pleasant.
