On 26 June 2018, Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in BiH organised a reception on the occasion of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Slovenia and the Day of Slovenian Army.
There were approximately 400 guests gathering in the beautiful ambience of the garden of Slovenian residency. The guests were the leading representatives of diplomatic corps in BiH, representatives of international community, military diplomatic corps, representatives of Slovenian companies in BiH, traders, representatives of Slovenian associations in BiH, eminent cultural workers and friends. Guests were greeted by H.E. Zorica Bukinac. Guest of honour was Slovenian MEP Tatjana Fajon, who also addressed the attendees.
Festive atmosphere included selected food and a selection of Slovenian wines and other beverages, while the guests could enjoy music programme of orchestra of Slovenian Army. Amira Medunjanin diva of traditional Bosnian music also took part in the music programme.
The guests had pleasant time and socialised with each other. Representatives of Slovenian associations in BiH, including Nataša Kajmaković, vice president of Association Triglav, took the opportunity to discuss future programmes.
