Mixed choir Davorin Jenko of the Association Triglav visited Nova Gorica, Slovenia, on 29 and 30 September 2018.
On that occasion Nova Gorica marked a municipal holiday. Choir Davorin Jenko was invited by choir Rože from Nova Gorica to participate in a joint concert. Concert was held on 29 September 2018 at 19 hrs in the ceremonial hall of municipality of Nova Gorica. Three choirs performed at the concert: Rože from Nova Gorica, Men's choir from Pivka and as guest, choir Davorin Jenko.
There were many citizens of Nova Gorica present, including deputy mayor of Nova Gorica as well as president of Slovenian Emigration Association (SIM) Sergij Pelhan.
The attendees were welcomed by president of choir Lea Fabjan. Prior to the very concert the attendees were addressed by president of SIM Sergij Pelhan and vice president of Association Triglav Nataša Kajmaković.
After the concert, which lasted a bit more than one hour, we sang a set of Slovenian folk songs and songs from former Yugoslav republics.
