From 21 to 23 May 2009, the Association Triglav hosted numerous pupils from elementary schools from Slovenia and Serbia.

On 21 May, national minorities in Banja Luka organised a show in the centre of Banja Luka. Slovenians from Banja Luka were presented by the Mixed Choir Davorin Jenko, students of the Supply Teaching Lessons of the Slovenian Language, as well as pupils from Elementary School “Ivan Cankar” from Trbovlje, members of a music group “Popotniki”, a young accordion player and a theatre artist from the studio “Anima” Medvode-Ljubljana. We, the Slovenians, presented ourselves at a stand with our national meals and beverages, where the young accordion player from Novo mesto invited curious passers-by to dance.
On Friday, 22 May, we organised a one-day excursion to the canyon of the Vrbas River. We observed a part of the world championship in rafting, and then we went to socialise in Rekavice. The excursion to Rekavice was used for sport and art purposes. Our students of the Supply Teaching Lessons of the Slovenian Language, together with the guests, prepared a short programme. The Association of the Slovenians “Triglav” from Subotica was presented by a puppet group “Klopotec”. Children from our Association presented themselves with recitals, while those from Trbovlje told two fairytales and sang interesting Slovenian songs. Additional entertainment was seen to by “Popotniki” and the nice accordion player from Novo mesto.
On the third day, 23 May, we visited Museum of the Republic of Srpska and the Fortress Kastel.
