Valentine’s Day, a day for those in love, for the youth, for everyone who wishes to preserve optimism. On that occasion, a Concert for those in love was held on 11 February 2018 in Banski dvor in Banja Luka.

Info days were organised on 9 and 10 February in Slovenia. Future students filled up secondary schools and faculties, asking practical questions which they could use when choosing further education.

Nataša Pirih Svetina, PhD, from the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Ljubljana was the guest at the Faculty of Philology in Banja Luka on Friday, 9 February.

The 8th February is the Slovenian cultural holiday, Prešeren's Day.

We have been in contact with students of Grammar School Ledina and their teachers Nina Levstik and Darinka Avbar Kosovelj for two years already.

Pupils and students from Banjaluka, Slatina and Prijedor, who had participated at the competition organised by Slovenian Emigrant Association »Iz mnogih dežel«, received gifts and acknowledgements on Saturday, 16 December, at pre-New Year's event for their participation.

The Association of Slovenians Triglav Banjaluka should not worry for their young. On Saturday, 16 December, Jewish Cultural Centre was full of children waiting for Santa Claus.

On Saturday, 16 December, a performance was made in Banjaluka by Breda and Darko Kočevar from Črnomelj. In cooperation with Association for the Development of Voluntary Work Novo mesto we saw two kamišibaj plays – first for children and second for youth and adults.

On Friday, 15 December 2017, on the premises of the Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenians Abroad, an exhibition prepared by Slovenian community from Tuzla was opened.

Zdravko Ćosić's ensemble organises monthly concerts throughout the year. At the end of 2017, on 11 December, a pre-holiday concert was held in Banski dvor.
