Pupils of supply teaching lessons from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina and guests from Serbia gathered in Banja Luka. During the quiz prepared by Darko Hederih and Pavle Ravnohrib they showed how much they knew about water.

On 30 September 2016 the Union of RS National Minorities organised the 4th Review of National Minorities and Review of Folklore Šibovska.

At the initiative of the Council of Europe, on 26 September we mark the European language Day every year since 2001. On that day, throughout Europe, there are a number of activities for children and adults.

Following the “Atlas of European Lyrics”, the Association of the Slovenians of the Republic of Srpska “Triglav” and Association of Literary Translators “Kuća poezije” from Banja Luka published an anthology of stories “Legacy of European Story“ by author Zdravko Kecman.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of Slovenia, Slovenian Institute for Education and Centre of School and Extracurricular Activities, the Slovenian Emigrant Association organised a creative summer school for youth entitled – Slovenian in a different way.

Pupils and students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian study also during summer as they take part at many summer schools and camps. Motto of this year's youth summer school in Ljubljana was »Slovenian is no problem for me.«
