December, as the last month of the calendar year, is filled with various events, such as saying goodbye to the old year, plans for the new one, so there is no end in sight to the holidays and celebrations, the cities are dotted with lights arranged in all possible shapes and figures, shop windows are decorated with snowmen, snowflakes, colorful decorations and, of course, the good December man, who especially makes children happy, called Saint Nicholas, and in Slovenia Miklavž, a popular saint both in the Catholic and Orthodox calendars.

As soon as I found out about the Vrbas Canyon hiking event, I was sure that our hiking section members would love it.

On Thursday, the 21st and Saturday, November 23rd, 2024 , we had a traditional Slovenian breakfast as a supplemental Slovenian language class.

In a slightly different but still good atmosphere and even better company, this year we celebrated the traditional St. Martin's Day, the 25th in a row.

On Saturday, September 28, 2024, two members of the Triglav Association attended the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the "Cankar" Slovenian Association in the ceremonial hall of the House of Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo.

The last weekend in September, we visited the Association of Slovenians in Subotica, with whom we share the same name, but also love for music. On September 27, 2024, our choir Davorin Jenko, after a long break, was a guest at the 20th festival of Slovenian choirs in Subotica.

As is already established in the annual calendar of events organised by Slovenian associations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the beginning of September is reserved for the Gathering of Slovenians in Zenica "Slovenians, let's get to know each other!" , so on September 7, 2024 , this city was a gathering place for Slovenians from BiH and the surrounding area.
