On 11 January 2008, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Association Triglav, the Mayor of Banja Luka, Mr. Dragoljub Davidović received representatives of the Association and a delegation from Novo Mesto, headed by Mayor Alojz Muhič. During the meeting, there was mention of a possibility of establishing cooperation between Novo Mesto and Banja Luka in the fields of economy, education and culture.
Both Mayors noted that there is great willingness to establish cooperation and exchange experience, wherefrom both cities would benefit. Mr. Davidović extended his congratulation to the representatives of the Association Triglav on the anniversary and said he was pleased to see that Slovenians are the most numerous and most active of 12 national minorities in Banja Luka. He promised that City Administration would provide support and assistance to the Association in the future because the satisfaction with cooperation is mutual.
