Winter was coming to an end, spring was approaching and with it a desire was born to visit Stanko Prosen, a member of our Association for many years.
Desires are always present and do not require major planning, but this year, in 2020, desires had to adapt to some unknown Coronavirus. As the virus is unknown to the general population, it was necessary to follow the instructions and warnings of experts, epidemiologists, infectologists, including reason.
We met all the instructions and wished to see Stanko again after a few months since we had not seen him. Marija, Mira and Nataša came to visit him. It was a beautiful sunny day, a day for pleasant company. At the door we were first greeted by a puppy, a guard dog, who has known us since our previous visits, and immediately behind him a smiling Stanko. I think he was very pleased with our visit. He immediately directed us to the Prosen garden, where a table with salty and sweet snacks was waiting for us, prepared by Stanko's wife Dana, his faithful life companion. In the beautiful fairytale ambience of the garden, where every tree is decorated with bird nests with beautiful flower arrangements, mowed grass, a carriage pulled by deer, perhaps a foal, full of flowers and rich in fertile vines. All of this is re-created by Dana every year. It was an addition to pleasant feelings and casual conversation. Two, maybe three hours of pleasant chatter passed in an instant. We spoke like we used to in our younger age, we were happy, faithful only to our youth, and that is a lot for our age.
