February 8 is a Slovenian national holiday - Prešeren's Day. We started the 2nd semester of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian language by talking about France Prešeren and his works.

At the initiative of Barbara Zorman, PhD, from the University of Primorska, students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian language in Banja Luka, have established cooperation with students attending the second year of pedagogy in Koper. 49 female students participated.

The youngest members of the Association of Slovenians "Triglav" thought that this year Santa Claus and Father Christmas will not be able to visit them. However, these two good men took all the necessary measures to reach the children and cheer them up with gifts.

The Slovenian Conference of the World Slovenian Congress has announced a competition for the original expression of young compatriots around the world.

"Separated, but still together" is the motto of various events held this year via the Internet, when we are not allowed to hang out due to the possibility of infection.

On Sunday, September 27th, 2020, in the pleasant ambience of the "Nature Park" picnic area in Jaružani, in the municipality of Laktaši, the 11th Slovenian Day was held, a traditional gathering of the Slovenian national minority in the Banja Luka region, this time in a slightly different edition, respecting preventive measures during a pandemic.

The VIII ordinary electoral assembly of the Association of Slovenians of RS "Triglav" Banja Luka was held on September 27, 2020.

September 26 is the European Day of Languages. We have always celebrated it in the National and University Library in Banja Luka, however this year it is not possible.
