On Saturday, 16 December, a performance was made in Banjaluka by Breda and Darko Kočevar from Črnomelj. In cooperation with Association for the Development of Voluntary Work Novo mesto we saw two kamišibaj plays – first for children and second for youth and adults.
On Friday, 15 December 2017, on the premises of the Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenians Abroad, an exhibition prepared by Slovenian community from Tuzla was opened.
Zdravko Ćosić's ensemble organises monthly concerts throughout the year. At the end of 2017, on 11 December, a pre-holiday concert was held in Banski dvor.
As early as in spring, the Slovenian Migrant Association published the competition for illustration of stories by Louis Adamič. The topic was From many countries involving pupils and students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian. They illustrated the stories of When the doorbell rang and New Year's Eve in New York.
On Wednesday, 29 November, under the organisation of Alliance of Cultural Associations Nova Gorica, Nova Gorica Branch Office of the Public Fund, Gorica Literary Club Govorica, Serbian Cultural Association Sloga and Gorica Library France Bevk Nova Gorica, an interesting literary evening was held in Točka ZKD with a guest, Serbian author, poet, translator and editor Zdravko Kecman.
In May 2017, children attending the supply teaching lessons of Slovenian were guests of their peers from Elementary School F. Prešeren and Grammar School F. Prešeren in Kranj. Friendship and desire for cooperation among schools emerged.
On 18 November 2017, the Association »Triglav« observed the traditional holiday St. Martin.
Cooperation between the Association of the Slovenians of the Republic of Srpska „Triglav“ and other associations and institutions grows and becomes more and more important. This is confirmed by recently published book, anthology of prose authors of Banja Luka and Slovenia entitled „Stories of Soča and Vrbas Rivers“, promoted in the National and University Library of the Republic of Srpska, on 17 November.
31 October, the Reformation Day, was marked by two art workshops: on 28 October we had illustrator Peter Škerl with us, and on 4 November an art teacher Natalija Veselič Martinjak.
