On Sunday, September 27th, 2020, in the pleasant ambience of the "Nature Park" picnic area in Jaružani, in the municipality of Laktaši, the 11th Slovenian Day was held, a traditional gathering of the Slovenian national minority in the Banja Luka region, this time in a slightly different edition, respecting preventive measures during a pandemic.

The VIII ordinary electoral assembly of the Association of Slovenians of RS "Triglav" Banja Luka was held on September 27, 2020.

Winter was coming to an end, spring was approaching and with it a desire was born to visit Stanko Prosen, a member of our Association for many years.

Rhymes in Slovenian and Serbian

September 26 is the European Day of Languages. We have always celebrated it in the National and University Library in Banja Luka, however this year it is not possible.

April 2 is Hans Christian Andersen’s birthday, and International Children’s Book Day is celebrated around the world.

On February 15, 2020, the Slovenian Association of Citizens Jožef Springer Kakanj celebrated the Slovenian cultural holiday Prešeren's Day. Members of the Association of Slovenians Triglav RS Banja Luka also attended the festive event.

Every year, the Association of Slovenians Triglav Banja Luka celebrates the Slovenian cultural holiday and organizes several cultural events. Prešeren's days are an opportunity to show the citizens of Banja Luka the achievements of Slovenian culture and art.

February 8 is a Slovenian cultural holiday, a day when we remember the death of the Slovenian poet France Prešeren. Supply teaching lessons of Slovenian language and culture were festive on this day, and we refreshed the memory of the poet through creative workshops.

The Association of Slovenians "Triglav", in cooperation with the Association for the Development of Voluntary Work Novo Mesto, organized an exhibition by the author Tatjana Ratković Bosnić in the Cultural Center Janez Trdina in Novo Mesto.
