Pupils and students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian study also during summer as they take part at many summer schools and camps. Motto of this year's youth summer school in Ljubljana was »Slovenian is no problem for me.«

Under the organisation of the Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenians Abroad and as part of the “Dobrodošli doma 2016” event, a conference was held on 1 July in Ljubljana for associates of portal slovenci.si edited by the Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenians Abroad.

From 30 June to 2 July 2016, the Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenians Abroad, together with NGOs Emigrants Association Slovenia Abroad, World Slovenian Congress, Rafael’s Association, Slovenian Emigrant Association and City of Ljubljana, prepared the sixth traditional gathering of Slovenians from all over the world.

Anthology “Legacy of the European Story” was presented on Friday, 1 July 2016 in the atrium of the National and University Library in Ljubljana. Anthology was presented by the editor, writer from Banja Luka Zdravko Kecman.

Under the organisation of the Association of Slovenians “Triglav” the VII Slovenian Day took place in Slatina on 25 June 2016.

On 24 June 2016, nineteen masters of photography showed their works to numerous visitors in the Cultural Centre Banski dvor in Banja Luka.

Our Mixed choir “Davorin Jenko” performed as guests in Šentvid pri Stični at the Saturday concert of choirs from abroad and 47th Gathering of Slovenian Choirs.

Three members of the Association Triglav participated at seminar in Novo mesto, organised by Institute for Slovenian Emigrants and Migrations ZRC SAZU from Ljubljana and Association for the Development of Voluntary Work Novo mesto. Seminar was held from 16-18 June 2016 as part of the Culture Week Festival.

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of Mixed choir “Davorin Jenko” of the Association of Slovenians “Triglav” a concert was held on 14 June 2016 in Banski dvor in Banja Luka. The hall was filled with audience, and music lovers had the opportunity to enjoy the programme we prepared together with our guests.

Secondary school students and adults are divided into four groups and the oldest student is 74. Each group has got its dynamics, characteristics and when they all gather together, fifty of them, including older and younger ones, dedicating their free time to studying Slovenian and getting familiar with Slovenian culture, this Thursday, 9 June, was really magnificent.
